Dear Prospective Sponsor,
My name is Kelvin Stockall and I am the Sponsorship Coordinator for the Winsford United Ladies Football Team. I head a small team that is dedicated to raising funds for the ladies team. The team was formed in 2003 by Tony Lee who is still the manager now. The ladies currently play in the North West Women's Regional Football League Division 1 (South), against 10 other ladies teams from Liverpool, South Manchester and Mid-Cheshire areas.
We are currently seeking financial sponsors to help with the funding of the ladies team and/or with the purchase of several new items for the current 2015/2016 season and beyond. As you can imagine it takes a lot of hard work and more importantly money to get us through each season. We are currently looking to purchase a new Away Football Kit, Tracksuits, Polo Shirts and Rain Jackets for the team to make the ladies look more professional and give them a greater team identity.
The costs for the clothing ranges from approximately £400 to £2,500. We would be willing to put your Company Logo and Name across the front of the clothing so that it will be seen all across Liverpool, South Manchester and Mid-Cheshire, where we typically travel to play our League and Cup matches. You would also be listed as a major sponsor on the club's website, Facebook page and Twitter feed.
During the upcoming season we also wish to push all the coaches as far as we can up the FA coaching ladder as we believe this will not only improve the individuals and team, but also some of the local youth teams. We will achieve this by going to their coaching sessions and into schools to offer a better quality of football training. All of this will be publicized on our website and in the local press.
